HELP! Costumes needed!
Letters will be going out with individual requirements, but if you could help with the following costumes we would be really grateful:
Police (Keystone Cops style, especially traditional police helmets)
Vampires (think Dracula, for example: white shirts- ruffles, black jackets, waistcoats)
Zombies (bandages, old ragged clothes that can be dyed)
White lab coat
Cleaner style clothes (think Hilda Ogden)
Sherlock Holmes style clothes (eg deerstalker hat, tweeds)
Old grandad shirts to sew on or adapt
Male Glam Rock outfit
Many thanks
A 'THANK YOU' FROM YEAR TWO:
Mr Hinde, Miss Jones and Mrs Mumford would like to express our thanks and admiration for the EXCELLENT work the Year Sixes did with the Year Twos on Wednesday afternoon. We were lucky with the weather, but we were even luckier to have such wonderful kind, caring, thoughtful, sensible and organised children to run activities with the little children. We had lots of positive comments from the teachers and the children from HIS - you were very all very lovely and should feel very proud.
A special 'thank you' to the Team Captains for their extra work in the organisation. Well done.

CITY CENTRE TRIP!
An excellent educational visit and some superb effort, ideas and behaviour from Year Six. You represented the school with honour - well done, and thank you.
Thank you also to the parents who generously gave of their time. We can't do it without you, thanks for helping us go on the trip. We hope you also had a nice day.
SPELLINGS:
During the run-up to SATs we are going to do regular 'spelling rules revision' in the classroom. Because of this, no weekly spellings will be set. Apologies to children who are close to certificates - we will recommence after the SATs.
Because of the Residential trips, you might get another week or two without spellings.
