Aims

At Henleaze Junior School we aim to :

  • Provide a safe, caring, stimulating and happy environment in which all people are respected and in which each individual can feel valued, confident and fulfilled.
  • Deliver a curriculum which meets the needs of all individuals and promotes tolerance, understanding and healthy lifestyles.
  • Inspire children with an enthusiasm for learning, encourage them to aim high, and support them in reaching their full potential in every way.
  • Give children the confidence to think independently and creatively so that they become self confident adults who can make a positive contribution to their community.
  • Help children to feel good about themselves and their school, and to be sensitive to the needs of oth
  • Prepare children for the next stage of their education and for the opportunities and challenges of an increasingly technological global society.
  • Work productively with other agencies for the mutual benefit of the school and the wider community.
